Fantasy 5 Player Wins Over $528,000

ATLANTA - A lucky Georgia Lottery player won over a half million dollars playing Fantasy 5. The winner, a resident of Norcross, matched all five numbers in the Fantasy 5 drawing on May 12 and won the top prize of $528,023.

The winning numbers for the May 12 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 09-16-17-28-33.

Georgia Lottery retailer AAM Food & Gas Inc. sold the lucky Quik Pik ticket. AAM Food & Gas is located at 3625 Chamblee Tucker Rd. in Chamblee.

Georgia Lottery retailers selling winning Fantasy 5 tickets receive a retailer incentive bonus of $2,000. The retailer incentive bonus increases by $2,000 each time Fantasy 5 rolls. If more than one winning top prize ticket is sold, the retailers selling the top prize winning tickets will share the bonus. AAM Food & Gas will receive a retailer incentive bonus of $12,000.

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corporation has returned over $7.4 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs. These include Georgia’s HOPE scholarship program; a statewide, voluntary pre-kindergarten program for four-year-olds; and a wide range of technological and capital upgrades for the state’s schools, technical institutes, colleges, universities and public libraries.
