ATLANTA - A chef from Lawrenceville has cooked up a winning recipe for Fantasy 5. Chang Choe matched all five numbers in the Fantasy 5 drawing on June 6 and won $316,216.
Mr. Choe called the Georgia Lottery Corporation's Player Information Hotline after the drawing and was shocked to hear that he was a top prize winner. "I was screaming," exclaims Mr. Choe, who slept with the winning ticket under his pillow.
According to Mr. Choe, 37, he plans to open a restaurant with his Fantasy 5 prize.
The winning numbers for the June 6 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 03-06-07-11-39.
Mr. Choe purchased his lucky Quik Pik ticket at Shell Food Mart, located at 6937 Jonesboro Rd. in Morrow.
Georgia Lottery retailers selling winning Fantasy 5 tickets receive a retailer incentive bonus of $2,000. The retailer incentive bonus increases by $2,000 each time Fantasy 5 rolls. If more than one winning top prize ticket is sold, the retailers selling the top prize winning tickets will share the bonus. Shell Food Mart will receive a retailer incentive bonus of $8,000.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corporation has returned over $7.4 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs.
