ATLANTA - Donna Shadron of Duluth matched all five winning numbers in the June 2 Fantasy 5 drawing and won $218,869.
According to Mrs. Shadron, her husband, Donald, checked the draw results by calling the Georgia Lottery Corporation's Player Information Hotline. "He said, 'We won Fantasy 5!' After that it was chaos for me," says Mrs. Shadron, 58.
As the owner of a networking cables and fiber optics company, Mrs. Shadron will invest her winnings into her business.
"It's wonderful!" she exclaims. "We only spent a dollar on our ticket."
The winning numbers for the Fantasy 5 drawing on June 2 were: 15-20-22-23-39.
Beverage Locker, located at 3576 U.S. Hwy. 23 in Duluth, sold the lucky Quik Pik ticket. Georgia Lottery retailers selling winning Fantasy 5 tickets receive a retailer incentive bonus of $2,000. The retailer incentive bonus increases by $2,000 each time Fantasy 5 rolls. If more than one winning top prize ticket is sold, the retailers selling the top prize winning tickets will share the bonus. Shell Food Mart will receive a retailer incentive bonus of $6,000.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corporation has returned over $7.4 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs.
