ATLANTA – A Fort Valley woman was wowed recently with a jackpot prize playing Fantasy 5. Alicia Montgomery, 38, matched all five numbers from the Nov. 15 drawing, winning the $261,097 jackpot prize.
Montgomery watched the televised drawing, jotting the numbers down as they were announced.
“I wrote down the numbers and compared them,” she said. “Eventually all of them matched, and I started crying.”
Winning numbers from the Nov. 15 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 16-19-28-30-31.
Hwy 49 Food Mart, 121 N. Camellia Blvd. in Fort Valley, sold the winning Quik Pik ticket.
“My husband and I shouted together,” the lucky winner recalled.
