ATLANTA – An Augusta resident recently fell into the money at a local store. First Stop, located at 1901 Gordon Highway in Augusta, sold a $100,000 ticket for the Georgia Lottery instant game Fall into Money.
The winner, an Augusta woman, claimed her top prize Wednesday at the Georgia Lottery’s Augusta district office.
“I’m excited,” said store owner Jayesh Patel, who sold the winning ticket. “She showed me the ticket, and she hugged me.”
According to Patel, word is spreading quickly that First Stop is a lucky lottery store.
“More and more people are coming in and buying tickets,” he said. “I’m proud of my store.”
Fall into Money is a new autumn-themed instant game loaded with prizes up to $100,000.
