Fantasy 5 Player Wins Over $670,000

ATLANTA - A lucky Georgia Lottery player won over $670,000 dollars playing Fantasy 5. James Edwards of Smiths, Ala. matched all five numbers in the Fantasy 5 drawing on June 28 and won the top prize of $670,538.

The winning numbers for the June 28 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 15-16-23-26-29.

Georgia Lottery retailer Crown #0135 sold the lucky Quik Pik ticket. Crown #0135 is located at 1715 South Lumpkin Road in Columbus.

Georgia Lottery retailers selling winning Fantasy 5 tickets receive a retailer incentive bonus of $2,000. The retailer incentive bonus increases by $2,000 each time Fantasy 5 rolls. If more than one winning top prize ticket is sold, the retailers selling the top prize winning tickets will share the bonus. Crown #0135 will receive a retailer incentive bonus of $14,000.

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corporation has returned over $7.4 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs. These include Georgia’s HOPE scholarship program; a statewide, voluntary pre-kindergarten program for four-year-olds; and a wide range of technological and capital upgrades for the state’s schools, technical institutes, colleges, universities and public libraries.
