ATLANTA - The weekend is off to a winning start for Cash 3 players with "triples" falling for the second time in two weeks. Lucky Georgia Lottery players won $3,183,500 when 0-0-0 was drawn in today's midday Cash 3 drawing. This comes just two weeks after lucky players won over $8.1 million when 1-1-1 fell in the midday Cash 3 drawing on June 24.
"Cash 3 is an exciting game, and it's wonderful to see our players having so much fun," said Georgia Lottery Corporation President and CEO Margaret DeFrancisco. "We are just as excited that every dollar raised by the Georgia Lottery benefits education all over the state."
The top prize for a Cash 3 $1 play is $500. The top prize for a 50 cents play is $250.
Cash 3 midday drawings are held every afternoon except Sundays at approximately 12:29 p.m. (EST). Cash 3 evening drawings are held every night at approximately 6:59 p.m. (EST).
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corporation has returned over $7.4 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs. These include Georgia’s HOPE scholarship program; a statewide, voluntary pre-kindergarten program for four-year-olds; and a wide range of technological and capital upgrades for the state’s schools, technical institutes, colleges, universities and public libraries.
