Conyers electrician having a blast with $250K prize

Tuesday, March 18, 2014

ATLANTA – A Conyers electrician has struck a quarter-million dollar prize playing the new Georgia Lottery daily game All or Nothing. Ian Lavinier, 47, won a $250,000 top prize from the March 14 All or Nothing evening drawing.

Lavinier did not match any of the numbers from the drawing, winning the top prize. He claimed his prize Monday at Georgia Lottery headquarters in Atlanta.

“I guess it was destiny,” he said of his good fortune, discovering the good news while at work. “I jumped up, my hat flew off of my head, and I could not stand. I was weak in the knees.”

The lucky winner anticipates investing his winnings.

“That’s my only goal right now,” Lavinier shared.

Valero Food Mart, 1836 Mountain Industrial Blvd. in Tucker, sold the winning ticket.

All or Nothing is a $2 game that offers prizes of up to $250,000 with four daily drawings.

Players can win the top prize by matching all or none of the 12 numbers drawn.

Tickets for All or Nothing went on sale statewide March 2.
