ATLANTA- Howard Truelove considers himself to be a lucky man. He was proven right when he played Giant Jumbo Bucks, a Georgia Lottery instant game, and won the $150,000 top prize. The 53-year-old couldn’t believe it when he found out that his ticket was a winner. Mr. Truelove works at Wrigley Manufacturing Company and likes to fish in his spare time. He plans to use his winnings to pay bills. The Lula resident purchased his winning ticket at Circle K #2305, located at 4434 Cornelia Hwy. in Lula. Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corporation has returned over $7.6 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs. These include Georgia’s HOPE scholarship program; a statewide, voluntary pre-kindergarten program for four-year-olds; and a wide range of technological and capital upgrades for the state’s schools, technical institutes, colleges, universities and public libraries.
