Georgia Lottery Launches $200 Million Cash Spectacular

ATLANTA – The Georgia Lottery Corporation (GLC) today announced the launch of $200 Million Cash Spectacular, a new instant game with 20 $1 million top prizes and over $210 million in total cash prizes. Hot on the heels of the popular game $100 Million Cash Spectacular, $200 Million Cash Spectacular features twice the money and twice the millionaires.

$200 Million Cash Spectacular tickets go on sale statewide today. The $10 game offers over 9.7 million prizes totaling over $210 million including 20 top prizes of $1 million, over 11,000 prizes from $1,000 to $50,000, and more than 347,000 prizes from $100 to $500.

“The introduction of $200 Million Cash Spectacular and its record-breaking prizes is thrilling for Georgia Lottery players and retailers,” said GLC President and CEO Margaret DeFrancisco. “This is a phenomenal opportunity to generate excitement across the state and raise dollars for the important educational programs funded by the Georgia Lottery.”

To play $200 Million Cash Spectacular, scratch off the entire play area. Match any of YOUR NUMBERS to any of the WINNING NUMBERS and win the PRIZE shown for that number. Get a “STAR” symbol and instantly win $100. Get a “CASH” symbol and instantly win all 15 PRIZES shown. Players can win a free ticket, $15, $20, $25, $50, $100, $200, $500, $1,000, $10,000, $50,000 and the top prize of $1,000,000. Overall odds for $200 Million Cash Spectacular are 1 in 3.26.

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corporation has returned over $7.6 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs. These include Georgia’s HOPE scholarship program; a statewide, voluntary pre-kindergarten program for four-year-olds; and a wide range of technological and capital upgrades for the state’s schools, technical institutes, colleges, universities and public libraries.
