ATLANTA – Springfield resident Rochelle Grant bought a Mustang Money instant game ticket because she thought that it would be nice to win a car – she did. Ms. Grant won a brand-new Ford Mustang.
Ms. Grant, 29, scratched the ticket after she walked out of the store where it was purchased. "I just kind of smiled and said, 'I won a car,' " Ms. Grant says.
The home healthcare provider is excited to win a car after her first time playing Mustang Money. Mustang Money is a $3 game with a $75,000 top prize and the chance to instantly win one of 10 Ford Mustang convertibles.
Ms. Grant purchased her winning ticket at Shawnee Convenience Store, located at 123 Shawnee Rd. in Springfield.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corporation has returned over $7.8 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs. These include Georgia’s HOPE scholarship program; a statewide, voluntary pre-kindergarten program for four-year-olds; and a wide range of technological and capital upgrades for the state’s schools, technical institutes, colleges, universities and public libraries.
