ATLANTA – Administrative assistant Belinda Jackson-Hill recently decided to buy a Fantasy 5 ticket because the top prize was over $200,000. The decision was worth $200,954. Mrs. Jackson-Hill, 38, was the top prize winner for the Nov. 27 Fantasy 5 drawing.
The winning numbers for the Nov. 27 drawing were: 23-27-30-32-34.
Mrs. Jackson-Hill’s husband found out that they held the winning ticket when he checked the Georgia Lottery Web site. He was surprised to see that they’d matched all five numbers. “I wasn’t expecting to get all the numbers,” Mr. Hill described.
The couple plan to use the winnings to pay bills. They are also the proud parents of a daughter who attended lottery-funded prekindergarten.
Mrs. Jackson-Hill, a resident of McDonough, purchased her winning ticket for the Nov. 27 drawing at Eagles Landing Superette. The store is located at 105 Eagles Landing Pkwy. in Stockbridge.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corporation has returned over $7.8 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs including Georgia's HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia's Prekindergarten Program. More than 900,000 students have received HOPE Scholarships, and more than 700,000 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
