ATLANTA – The Georgia Lottery Corporation deals in fun and excitement with the new instant game $500,000 Hold 'Em Poker®. Play $500,000 Hold 'Em Poker® for $5 and win up to $500,000. The game is loaded with over $52 million in total cash prizes.
To play $500,000 Hold 'Em Poker®, scratch off the entire play area. At each table, use YOUR 2 CARDS and the COMMUNITY CARDS to make your best 5-card poker hand. Do the same with THEIR 2 CARDS. If your best 5-card poker hand beats their best 5-card poker hand at the same table, you win the prize for that table. Get a "MERCH" prize symbol and instantly win one of 5,100 World Poker Tour® (WPT) Merchandise Prize Packs. Players can win a free ticket, $10, $15, $20, $25, $30, $35, $50, $75, $100, $150, $250, Merchandise Prize Pack, $1,000, $5,000, $15,000 and the top prize of $500,000. Overall odds for $500,000 Hold 'Em Poker® are 1 in 3.98.
There are three different Merchandise Prize Packs to choose from, each valued at $595. Prize Pack A includes your choice of: a professional poker table or folding table, a WPT 500 chip set, and an instructional DVD. Prize Pack B includes: a poker table top, WPT 300 chip set, automatic card shuffler, WPT wall clock, WPT tumblers, cooler bag, WPT watch set, WPT fleece blanket and an instructional DVD set. $500,000 Hold 'Em Poker® is on sale at lottery retailers statewide. Prizes up to $599 can be claimed at any location where lottery instant tickets are sold. Players who win prizes over $599 may claim their winnings at one of the seven Georgia Lottery district offices. These are located in Dalton, Duluth, Columbus, Macon, Augusta, Thomasville, Savannah, and at the GLC headquarters in Atlanta. Winners can also mail a completed claim form, along with the signed winning ticket, to the GLC headquarters.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corporation has returned over $8.4 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs including Georgia's HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia's Prekindergarten Program.
