ATLANTA – In conjunction with the exciting game KENO!, the Georgia Lottery is kicking off the statewide promotion KENO! Kick for $1,000,000 Challenge. Georgia Lottery players can enter a second chance drawing through Oct. 27, 2006, for a chance to win $1 MILLION or a Ford Edge vehicle.
There are three ways to enter the KENO! Kick for $1,000,000 Challenge. Fill out the back of any single, non-winning $5 minimum Georgia Lottery KENO! ticket and: (1) enter ticket number at galottery.com; (2) mail ticket to: KENO! Kick for $1,000,000 Challenge Promotion, P.O. Box 191228, Atlanta, GA 31119; or (3) submit ticket at any Georgia Lottery KENO! Night Event held throughout the state during the promotional period.
Five contestants will be randomly selected to participate in the KENO! Kick for $1,000,000 Challenge during the Atlanta Falcons game at the Georgia Dome on Dec. 16, 2006. The five contestants will each win a trip to the KENO! Kick for $1,000,000 Challenge. The Prize Package includes: two tickets for the Falcons game; one night hotel stay (one room, double occupancy); a Georgia Lottery prize pack; $250 travel/expense money; and a chance to participate in the Million-Dollar Event. The approximate retail value of the Prize Package is $500.
The five contestants will each have an opportunity to participate in the KENO! Kick for $1,000,000 Challenge for the chance to win: (1) the Grand Prize Package of $1 million; or (2) the First Prize Package of a Ford Edge vehicle. The approximate retail value of the First Prize Package is $39,145, which includes the minimum required federal and state withholding tax.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corporation has returned over $8.4 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs including Georgia's HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia's Prekindergarten Program. More than 900,000 students have received HOPE Scholarships, and more than 700,000 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
