ATLANTA – Lisa Agent-Postell was visiting her hometown of Brunswick when her brother had a lucky feeling. She played the Georgia Lottery instant game $150,000,000 Slots of Luck, and her brother's hunch was worth $250,000.
According to Agent-Postell, she purchased the ticket after her brother said, "I'm feeling lucky. Let's go get some lottery tickets."
The top prize ticket was purchased at Andy's Discount Stop #0005, located at 1409 Gloucester St. in Brunswick.
Agent-Postell, 41, resides in Jacksonville, Fla., where she works as a claims and subrogation analyst. She and her husband, Eura, have a 2-year-old daughter.
"I was already in the middle of hunting for a new home," Agent-Postell says. "This will help us make a nice down payment."
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corporation has returned over $8.6 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs including Georgia's HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia's Prekindergarten Program. More than 900,000 students have received HOPE Scholarships, and more than 700,000 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
