ATLANTA – Five lucky contestants will have a chance to win $1 MILLION or a Ford Edge vehicle in the Georgia Lottery Corporation's KENO! Kick for $1,000,000 Challenge. The event will be held on Saturday, December 16, during the Atlanta Falcons game at the Georgia Dome.
KENO! Kick for $1,000,000 Challenge contestants are as follows: Rhonda Blalock ofWoodstock , age 49; Ronnie Dingler of Cedartown, age 55; Ardell Richardson Jr. of Macon, age 53; Ocie Thurman of Albany, age 38; and Nguyen Tran of Norcross, age 23.
Georgia Lottery players could enter a second chance drawing for the opportunity to participate in the KENO! Kick for $1,000,000 Challenge. The five contestants were randomly selected from entries received.
The five contestants will each win a trip to the KENO! Kick for $1,000,000 Challenge. The Prize Package includes: two tickets for the Falcons game; one night hotel stay (one room, double occupancy); a Georgia Lottery prize pack; $250 travel/expense money; and a chance to participate in the Million-Dollar Event. The approximate retail value of the Prize Package is $500.
The five contestants will each have an opportunity to participate in the KENO! Kick for $1,000,000 Challenge for the chance to win: (1) the Grand Prize Package of $1 million; or (2) the First Prize Package of a Ford Edge vehicle. The approximate retail value of the First Prize Package is $39,145, which includes the minimum required federal and state withholding tax.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corporation has returned over $8.6 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs including Georgia's HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia's Prekindergarten Program. More than 900,000 students have received HOPE Scholarships, and more than 700,000 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
