$100,000 lucky win for Savannah woman

ATLANTA – Blanca Rosa Wolfe, 40, won a $100,000 top prize playing Mighty Mega Bucks, a Georgia Lottery instant game.

She purchased her winning ticket at Akshar Food Mart, 5402 LaRoche Ave., in Savannah.

Wolfe says she will purchase a new home for herself and her 8-year-old daughter, Ariel.

"I feel really good," Wolfe said about winning her prize."I am very excited."

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corporation has returned over $8.8 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs including Georgia's HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia's Prekindergarten Program. More than 1 million students have received HOPE, and more than 790,000 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
