ATLANTA – Rupal Patel of Rome was tidying her purse when she discovered a Fantasy 5 ticket she purchased weeks earlier. The ticket matched all five winning numbers in the March 12 Fantasy 5 drawing, and Patel won $53,185.
"I was cleaning my pocketbook and remembered to check my ticket," said Patel. "I was just shocked. I still can’t believe the numbers matched."
The winning numbers for the Fantasy 5 drawing on March 12 were: 2-3-23-33-39.
According to Patel, she will use her Georgia Lottery winnings to invest in a new business venture.
"I want to buy a business for myself," she shared. "I have lots of plans for it."
Patel purchased her Quik Pik top prize ticket at Golden Gallon #3551, located at 6 Shorter Ave. N.W., in Rome.
Georgia Lottery retailers selling winning Fantasy 5 tickets receive a retailer incentive bonus of $2,000. The retailer incentive bonus increases by $2,000 each time Fantasy 5 rolls. If more than one winning top prize ticket is sold, the retailers selling the top prize winning tickets will share the bonus. Golden Gallon will receive a retailer incentive bonus of $2,000.
