ATLANTA – Andrew Robinson Jr. of Dalton is seven times lucky this week. The lift truck operator received a huge lift when he played 7 Times Lucky and won the instant game’s $100,000 top prize.
Mr. Robinson, 41, was headed to the golf course on Sunday (4/11) when he purchased the winning ticket. He scratched the ticket in the parking lot of the golf course while waiting for his friends to arrive. “I couldn’t believe it,” Mr. Robinson says. “I had to look at it several times before it really dawned on me that this was a winner.”
When inclement weather kept his golfing buddies away, Mr. Robinson rushed to his girlfriend Phyllis for confirmation. He shares, “She just smiled and told me, ‘Yeah, that’s a winner.’”
According to Mr. Robinson, he is still deciding how to spend his winnings. “I’m just going to hold on to it for awhile and make a wise decision about what I’m going to do.”
Mr. Robinson purchased the winning ticket at Beamer BP #0006, located at 3080 Hwy. 52 in Chatsworth.
