Georgia Lottery Introduces Big Bucks and Beat the Dealer

ATLANTA – Enjoy the chance to win big bucks with the Georgia Lottery Corporation’s new instant games. Play Big Bucks for $3 and win up to $100,000. Or try your hand at Beat the Dealer, a $2 game, and win up to $21,000.

To play Big Bucks, scratch off the entire play area. Match any of YOUR NUMBERS to any of the SERIAL NUMBERS and win the prize shown for that number. Get a “BIG” symbol and instantly win 12 times the prize shown for that symbol. Win up to 12 times! Players can win a free ticket, $4, $5, $6, $10, $12, $20, $24, $25, $35, $36, $48, $50, $72, $75, $100 $120, $144, $240, $480, $500, $900, $1,200 and the top prize of $100,000. Overall odds for Big Bucks are 1 in 3.72.

To play Beat the Dealer, scratch off the entire play area. If YOUR CARD beats the DEALER’S CARD, you win the PRIZE shown for that hand. Get a “JOKER” symbol and instantly win DOUBLE the prize shown for that hand. Ace is High. Win up to eight times! Players can win a free ticket, $3, $4, $6, $8, $10, $15, $20, $30, $40, $50, $100, $200, $2,100 and the top prize of $21,000. Overall odds for Beat the Dealer are 1 in 4.00.

Big Bucks and Beat the Dealer go on sale at lottery retailers statewide today. Prizes up to $599 can be claimed at any location where lottery instant tickets are sold. Players who win prizes over $599 may claim their winnings at one of the seven Georgia Lottery district offices. These are located in Dalton, Duluth, Columbus, Macon, Augusta, Thomasville, Savannah, and at the GLC headquarters in Atlanta. Winners can also mail a completed claim form, along with the signed winning ticket, to the GLC headquarters.

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corporation has returned over $6 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs. These include Georgia’s HOPE scholarship program; a statewide, voluntary pre-kindergarten program for four-year-olds; and a wide range of technological and capital upgrades for the state’s schools, technical institutes, colleges, universities and public libraries.
