ATLANTA – One Georgia Lottery winner is in high spirits over winning a Fantasy 5 jackpot prize, a second win in just over a year. John Tull matched all five winning numbers in the May 7 Fantasy 5 drawing, winning the $361,965 jackpot prize.
Tull, 55, won a $2.5 million top prize playing the instant game Millionaire Jumbo Bucks in February 2010.
“I bought a house, I bought a car, and I helped people out,” he said.
Tull purchased his Quik Pik at Airport S-Mart, 1914 Airport Thruway, Columbus. Winning numbers from the May 7 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 10-14-21-33-38.
The lucky lottery winner, who lives in Phenix City, Ala., does not have any immediate plans for his latest win.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $12.5 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.3 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.1 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
