ATLANTA – A truck driver from Homer is navigating a newfound Georgia Lottery prize. William Standridge, 34, won the $292,145 jackpot prize from the May 15 Fantasy 5 drawing.
Using a combination of his own numbers, Standridge purchased his ticket at Mac’s Chevron, 507 Highway 441 Bypass in Baldwin.
Winning numbers from the May 15 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 1-6-14-26-34.
“There was no significance. I came up with those numbers off of the top of my head,” he said. “I was really surprised.”
Standridge is married with two children.
“I think we’re going to take some time off and pay a bunch of bills,” he shared.
