Georgia LotteryÂ’s New Games Make Great Holiday Gifts

ATLANTA – Give the gift of fun and excitement with the Georgia Lottery Corporation’s two new instant games. Play 3 For The Money for $2 and win up to $30,000. Or play Lucky Hand, a $3 game, and win up to $80,000. 3 For The Money and Lucky Hand make great stocking stuffers!

To play 3 For The Money, scratch off the entire play area. Count up the total number of “3” symbols under all three balls. See prize legend for prize won. Players can win a free ticket, $3, $5, $9, $15, $18, $23, $43, $73, $533 and the top prize of $30,000. Overall odds for 3 For The Money are 1 in 4.19.

To play Lucky Hand, scratch off the entire play area. Get three like cards within the same hand and win the prize shown for that hand. Get a “joker” symbol and instantly win DOUBLE the prize shown for that hand. Players can win a free ticket, $4, $5, $6, $7, $10, $15, $25, $30, $40, $50, $60, $75, $100, $150, $500, $2,000 and the top prize of $80,000. Overall odds for Lucky Hand are 1 in 3.61.

3 For The Money and Lucky Hand go on sale at lottery retailers statewide today. Prizes up to $599 can be claimed at any location where lottery instant tickets are sold. Players who win prizes over $599 may claim their winnings at one of the seven Georgia Lottery district offices. These are located in Dalton, Duluth, Columbus, Macon, Augusta, Thomasville, Savannah, and at the GLC headquarters in Atlanta. Winners can also mail a completed claim form, along with the signed winning ticket, to the GLC headquarters.

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corporation has returned over $7 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs. These include Georgia’s HOPE scholarship program; a statewide, voluntary pre-kindergarten program for four-year-olds; and a wide range of technological and capital upgrades for the state’s schools, technical institutes, colleges, universities and public libraries.
