ATLANTA – A Port Wentworth retiree was drinking his morning cup of coffee when he received a jolt from more than the java. While sipping his coffee, Paul Massey flipped through the newspaper and discovered that he and a few friends won Fantasy 5. The group matched all five numbers in Saturday’s Fantasy 5 drawing and won the top prize of $51,116.
According to Mr. Massey, he and his friends randomly selected the lucky combination and will split the winnings.
Mr. Massey, a retired auto parts salesman, plans to save his share. “It’ll come in handy,” says the 66-year-old. “Being retired, it sure is nice.”
The winning numbers for the Fantasy 5 drawing on Saturday were: 6-11-16-24-25. Timesaver #0066, located at 225 S. Coastal Hwy. in Port Wentworth, sold the winning ticket.
Georgia Lottery retailers selling winning Fantasy 5 tickets receive a retailer incentive bonus of $2,000. The retailer incentive bonus increases by $2,000 each time Fantasy 5 rolls. If more than one winning top prize ticket is sold, the retailers selling the top prize winning tickets will share the bonus. Timesaver will receive a retailer incentive bonus of $2,000.
