ATLANTA – A Monroe man has won a $20,000 prize, taxes paid, courtesy of the Georgia Lottery. Michael Warner, 64, was selected as a weekly winner from the Jan. 23 $3,000,000 Taxes Paid Weekly Extra Chance Drawing, winning his $20,000 prize.
“I just happened to see it on the news,” the lucky winner said. “I said to the TV, ‘Say Mike Warner,’ and the announcer said my name! It was hard to believe.”
Warner said that he has yet to make plans for his windfall.
The Georgia Lottery instant game $3,000,000 Taxes Paid is loaded with prizes of up to $3,000,000.
