ATLANTA – The Georgia Lottery Corporation’s Million-Dollar Hoopla promotion arrived in the Gainesville District, giving a lucky player the chance to win $1 million. Stanley Brown overcame a tiebreaker round and a broken finger to win a trip to the Grand Prize Million-Dollar Hoopla Event, which will be held at the Atlanta Hawks game on April 1.
According to Mr. Brown, he was nervous since he broke a finger on his shooting hand just two weeks prior to the regional event. However, the Lavonia truck driver says that he remained calm.
After winning the regional event, Mr. Brown exclaimed, “I’m tickled!”
Mr. Brown, 35, and his wife, Alisa, have two sons – Rashaun, 15, and Kyle, 13. The entire family is excited and supportive as Mr. Brown heads to the Grand Prize Million-Dollar Hoopla Event.
