ATLANTA – A Buckhead man is Georgia’s latest millionaire. Denny Bleau, 57, won a $1 million prize playing the new instant game $1,000,000
Georgia Lottery officials presented Bleau with an oversized ceremonial check Monday at the lottery’s Augusta district office. Benjamins.
Bleau purchased his top prize ticket at Katy’s Korner, 2550 Parks Mill Road, Buckhead. He scratched the ticket in the store’s parking lot.
“I pinched myself about five times to make sure I was awake,” he said.
Bleau and his wife, Kathy, have two grown children and one grandchild.
A digital technician, Bleau said he will “continue to work and put away for retirement.”
“I might go on a couple of trips,” he added.
