ATLANTA – A winning Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million was sold in Duluth. Quick Mart Texaco, located at 2590 Peachtree Industrial Blvd. in Duluth, sold the winning ticket that matched the first five winning numbers from the Nov. 19 drawing.
Winners from an office pool claimed their prize Nov. 20 at the Georgia Lottery’s Duluth District Office. Those winners who will share the prize are Cathy Thomas of Duluth, Richard Goodroe of Grayson and Lillie Dickey of Snellville.
Winning numbers from the Nov. 19 Mega Millions drawing were: 14-15-29-49-63 and the Mega Ball was 2.
Tuesday’s Mega Millions drawing is at an estimated $205 million to a single annuity winner.
It only takes $1 to play Mega Millions for a chance to win big. Players can multiply prizes with the Megaplier option for an additional $1 per play.
As with all other Georgia Lottery games, proceeds from Mega Millions will benefit education in the state of Georgia.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $14.8 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.6 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.3 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
