ATLANTA – Winning is on the menu for a barbecue restaurant owner. Rusha Miller played the Georgia Lottery instant game $300 Million Gold Rush and won $1 million.
Quick Stop #0001, located at 812 E. Screven St. in Quitman, sold the lucky ticket.
Mrs. Miller, a resident of Morven, says that she and her husband were still inside the store when they scratched the winning ticket. They were in such shock that they asked the store clerk to confirm the good news.
“We just hugged and got a little teary-eyed,” she shares. “We just couldn’t believe it.”
According to Mrs. Miller, 46, the family will pay bills and help their three children.
