(B) Registering Accounts
There is no requirement for registration to use the Site for public information about the Georgia Lottery.

We may require you to change or update account information at any time, including, but not limited to, your username or password. We reserve the right to require you to change your account log-in user name and/or password if we deem your login information to be offensive, inappropriate, or otherwise unacceptable.
Age and Identification Verification. By submitting the information necessary to register to be a member of the Players Club and open an iHOPE® Account, or to update your existing account, you consent to our use of any age-verification and identity-verification technology or method we deem appropriate. In order to successfully register for or update your account and use your account, you may be required to provide additional evidence of your age and identification, provide copies of documents, or appear in person at a designated claim center. We do not guarantee that our age-verification and identity-verification technology and methods will be able to locate records for and verify every person. You will not be able to use your account to purchase lottery tickets or shares online if your age and identity cannot be verified.
Inability to Register, Update or Purchase. If you cannot successfully register, update your existing account profile, or use your account to make a purchase and believe that either our identity or location verification results are incorrect, you may contact Customer Service for further information about verifying your identity or location.
We do not guarantee that you will be able to successfully register to be a Players Club member, register for an iHOPE® Account, update your existing account profile or use your account to purchase lottery tickets or shares online, or that you will be registered in any specific period of time. You understand and agree that a Players Club membership and an iHOPE® Account are discretionary privileges and that we reserve the right to reject your registration or update for any reason. We are under no obligation to explain the reason for delay in processing or rejection of a registration or account update. We are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from any delay in processing your registration. We are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from your inability to register, to update your existing account profile, or to use your account to purchase lottery tickets or shares online. If you cannot successfully register or update your existing account profile, we may retain the profile information you submitted for an indefinite period of time.
Your Liability for Unauthorized Use of Your iHOPE® Account. Tell us at once if you believe your iHOPE® Account information has been lost or stolen. Calling is the best way of notifying us at 1-800-GA-LUCKY (1-800-425-8259). We will use our best efforts to reduce your risk of loss; however, we are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from a third party’s unlawful or unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from a third party’s unlawful or unauthorized use of any payment source or method, including, but not limited to, debit cards and bank accounts, regardless of whether the payment method is under investigation or whether any card has been reported stolen. It is your responsibility to keep your username, password, and other account information confidential. If your username and password have been entered correctly, we are entitled to assume that you are the person using your account. You are responsible for any charges, costs, expenses, damages, liabilities, and losses of any kind that you, we, or any third party may incur as a result of your failure to keep your account information confidential. It is your responsibility to immediately notify us if you suspect or discover that your account has been compromised. You agree to cooperate with any investigation into unauthorized access of your account.
Changing Information on Account Profile. You certify that any information provided to us on the account registration page is complete and accurate, and you are responsible for updating your account information to accurately reflect any changes in your personal information. We reserve the right to use any age-verification and identity-verification technology or method we deem appropriate at any time after you have registered or updated your account in order to determine that all requirements for the purchase of game Products online, including a valid Georgia address, continue to be met. For security reasons, you may not be able to change certain information in your account profile on-line, such as first name, last name, date of birth, and the last four (4) digits of your Social Security Number. If your name has been legally changed, contact Customer Service.
If you change your account profile because you no longer have a valid Georgia address, you may not be able to access your account to deposit funds or to purchase game Products online in the discretion of the Georgia Lottery. It is your responsibility to only deposit the funds that you will use, and to claim prizes and transfer prize winnings in a timely manner and prior to losing eligibility to access funds and purchase game products online.
You may deposit funds into your iHOPE® Account by logging in to your account, and following the steps for using any method that we have approved, including transfer of funds from debit cards, ACH transfers from bank accounts, transactions from PayPal accounts, and any other method subsequently approved by the Georgia Lottery. We do not guarantee that each of these funding mechanisms will be available or that any particular card or method will be accepted. You will be required to provide certain financial account information in order to fund your account, including, but not limited to, your bank account number, routing number, debit card account information, and PayPal account information.
The funds you deposit into your iHOPE® Account and your prize winnings credited to your iHOPE® Account will be tracked separately
NOTE: : Upon discontinuance of the iHOPE® Discover® Debit Card (“Card”), any balances remaining on the Card will be transferred promptly to your iHOPE® Account.
By initiating a deposit, you represent and warrant that you:
We are not required to examine your authority to use a payment source or method and are entitled to assume you have authority. We may require you to provide additional information, provide copies of documents, or appear in person at a designated claim center. We do not guarantee that a deposit will be processed and made available in any specific period of time. We do not guarantee that a deposit will be free from error. We reserve the right to deny any deposit at any time and without notice. We are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from any delay, denial, or error in processing a deposit.
Funding Limits. There are limits on the amount you may deposit into your account during a given period of time. You may not deposit more than $250 per day, $750 per week, or $2,500 per month. We reserve the right to change these limits at any time. You have the option of setting lower limits by logging in to your iHOPE® Account and going to “My Limits.” If you set lower limits, you will be required to wait 24 hours before raising your limits, and you may never exceed the limits set by the Georgia Lottery.
You agree to abide by all applicable terms and conditions required by your financial institution or payment processor. You are solely responsible for any transaction fees or penalties of any kind imposed by any financial institution, payment processor, or other third party associated with processing your transaction. You are required to reimburse us for any losses we suffer as a result of any transaction fees or penalties of any kind associated with your transaction. You hereby authorize us to hold and collect any amount owed to us as a result of any such fees or penalties from your deposits or winnings. We reserve the right to pursue any other means to recover such losses. See links to Georgia Lottery third-party providers in Section X below.
No Withdrawal or Transfer of Deposit. Funds you deposit into your iHOPE® Account cannot be withdrawn, returned, charged-back, re-credited, or transferred to another account, unless required by law. It is your responsibility to refrain from depositing more than you will use. You agree that you will not attempt to deny, reverse, charge-back, re-credit, block or otherwise attempt to invalidate, recover, or deny us receipt of a deposit. You hereby authorize us to hold and collect any amount owed to us as a result of any fees or penalties from your deposits or winnings. We reserve the right to pursue any other means to recover such losses.
Maximum and Minimum Deposit and Prize Winnings Account Balances. You may have no more than $2,000 in funds in your iHOPE® Account at any time. We reserve the right to change these maximum limits, or to set or change a minimum required amount for all funds in your account, at any time and without notice. We are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from setting or changing any minimum or maximum amount.
No Interest Paid. You will not receive any interest on your funds held in your iHOPE® Account.
Any funds in your iHOPE® Account are subject to the abandonment and forfeiture provisions of applicable law, including the Georgia “Disposition of Unclaimed Property Act.”
In order to purchase Georgia Lottery game Products online at the Sites, you must be physically located within the State of Georgia.
Initiating any purchase of any Product through the Site constitutes your consent to deduct the cost of that purchase from your iHOPE® Account. Purchases will be deducted first from any from funds that you have deposited into your iHOPE® Account. If no deposited funds exist, purchases will be deducted from prize winnings in your iHOPE® Account. We do not guarantee the timeliness of any purchase and reserve the right to refuse any attempted purchase for any reason. We are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from any delay in or denial of processing a purchase.
All Sales are final. Once the purchase is completed, you may not cancel the purchase. You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have selected the correct lottery game and all options relating to that game, including, but not limited to, the game, the number of plays, the price of plays, and the numbers played on any tickets or shares. Purchases made in error will not be refunded. We are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from any error you make in selecting your purchase.
The amounts of game Products you are permitted to purchase per day, per week and per month are subject to limitations as may be established by the Georgia Lottery from time to time.
When you open an iHOPE® Account, you are authorizing the Georgia Lottery to deposit your winnings of $600 or below per wager into your iHOPE® Account. If the balance in your iHOPE® Account exceeds $2000 at any given time as a result of winnings, the Georgia Lottery will automatically issue a check payable to you for amounts causing the iHOPE® Account to exceed $2000. Any winnings in your iHOPE® Account may be transferred out to your bank account through an Automated Clearing House ("ACH") transaction at your request. All winnings over $600 will be verified by the Georgia Lottery and you will be required to complete a Georgia Lottery Claim Form to receive your winnings. In addition to the foregoing, all prize claims and payments will be subject to the applicable law and the Rules and Regulations of the Georgia Lottery.
(G) Transfers from your iHOPE® Account
You may transfer prize winnings in your iHOPE® Account. You may not transfer deposits that you have made into your iHOPE® Account unless required by law. It is your sole responsibility to deposit no more than you will use. You may use prize winnings in your iHOPE® Account to purchase tickets or shares online but no other Products.
You understand and agree that we may hold any transfer if we suspect that you may be engaging in or have engaged in fraudulent, collusive, unlawful, or improper activity pending completion of an investigation. You agree to cooperate with us in any investigation into such activity. You understand and agree that your refusal to cooperate with an investigation may lead to the suspension of or disabling of your account. We are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from any delay or denial of a transfer resulting from an investigation.
(H) Transaction History
You understand and agree that we may record and store any transactions you conduct through the Sites. A transaction history is also available for you to view through your Players Club iHOPE® Account. You may also obtain your transaction history by calling 1-800-GA-LUCKY (1-800-425-8259). This history is provided as a convenience only. It is not an official record. Information appearing in the transaction history does not constitute and does not establish a transaction, winning ticket or share, or a prize. We do not guarantee the accuracy of information appearing in your account transaction history. It is your responsibility to notify us of any errors in your transaction history. We are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from your reliance on or failure to report errors in your transaction history. Your transaction history will be presumed to be correct if you do not notify us of any error immediately, and not more than 30 days following the transaction in question.
Balance Errors. . In the event that any funds are mistakenly credited to or deducted from your iHOPE® Account, we are entitled to make the appropriate adjustments. If any funds are incorrectly credited to or deducted from your account, you must notify us of the errors immediately, and not more than 30 days following the transaction in question. If you transfer any funds incorrectly credited to your account, we may withhold that amount from any deposit or prize winnings, or seek recovery. If you use any funds incorrectly credited to your account to purchase a lottery ticket or share, we may deem the purchase void and refuse to pay any prize or recover any prize already paid.
