ATLANTA – Daniel Goodsell of Alpharetta is the winner of a $250,000 Mega Millions prize from the Dec. 29 draw.
Goodsell, 49, said he checked the winning ticket, which matched the first five winning numbers.
Results from the Dec. 29 draw were: 3-4-10-39-50 and the Mega Ball was 29. A homebuilder, Goodsell purchased the winning Quik Pik ticket from BP #02283, 1190 Old Roswell Road, Alpharetta.
He said he likes to purchase a ticket when buying his morning coffee. He is talking with family to decide what he will do with the money.
"We’ve all been laughing about it," said Goodsell, who has a wife and two sons. "It’s an exciting day."
