ATLANTA – A Cumming man will receive $1,000 a week for life from playing the Georgia Lottery instant game Win for Life.
Eusebio Morales, 41, purchased the winning ticket at CITGO Quick Mart, 6415 Highway 9 North, Alpharetta.
“I’m very happy I won,” said Morales, who works for a cement company. “This is my first time winning, and I won big.”
The father of four said he wants to go back to school. He also wants to send his children to college.
“This is special for me,” he said. “But I will continue to work because I like my job.”
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corporation has returned over $8.6 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs including Georgia's HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia's Prekindergarten Program. More than 900,000 students have received HOPE Scholarships, and more than 700,000 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
