ATLANTA – Christmas arrived early for a lucky College Park man. Carlos Smith, 36, won a Ford F-150 in a second-chance drawing for the Georgia Lottery instant game Atlanta Falcons $500,000 Score.
Representatives from the Georgia Lottery and Atlanta Falcons, including mascot Freddie Falcon, presented Smith with the keys to his new truck in front of the Christmas tree at Centennial Olympic Park.
“I’m just happy I won,” Smith exclaimed. “It’s a great experience.”
A U.S. Postal Service letter carrier, Smith said Atlanta Falcons $500,000 Score is an ideal game.
“I’ve been a Falcons fan my whole life,” he explained. “The game has a great prize and a second chance to win, so it was a no-brainer for me to play.”
