ATLANTA – A Georgia Lottery winner anticipates going on a clothes-shopping spree since winning an instant cash prize. Cleveland Hawk Jr. of Fort Gaines won a $12,000 top prize playing the instant game Green.
The 20-year-old purchased his winning ticket at H & K Groceries, 309 Eufaula Road in Fort Gaines. Hawk said he walked out of the store but turned back around because a lucky feeling overcame him.
He scratched the ticket shortly after leaving the store and was in total disbelief.
“I almost hopped out of the truck,” he said. “I almost had a heart attack.”
The lucky lottery winner said he feels good about winning his prize.
