$41K Fantasy 5 win smiles on Eatonton mother of 2
ATLANTA – An Eatonton mother is all smiles, especially since winning a prize from the Georgia Lottery. Constance McDaniel, a mother of two, is one of two players to win $41,104 each from matching all five winning numbers in the March 4 Fantasy 5 drawing.
McDaniel, 36, purchased her Quik Pik ticket at Kwik Stop #0004, 406 Pea Ridge Road, Eatonton. The second winning jackpot ticket was sold in Tucker.
Winning numbers from the March 4 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 4-11-27-34-38.
“I was in total shock,” said McDaniel, who had gotten results of her win from the retailer. “I squeezed my husband so hard I thought I was going to cut his circulation off.”
The lucky winner plans to purchase a new home with her husband, James, and their children.
Georgia Lottery retailers selling winning Fantasy 5 jackpot tickets receive a retailer incentive bonus of $2,000. The retailer incentive bonus increases by $2,000 each time Fantasy 5 rolls. If more than one winning jackpot ticket is sold, the retailers selling the winning jackpot tickets will share the bonus. Kwik Stop will receive a $1,000 retailer incentive bonus.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $12.3 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.3 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.1 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
