ATLANTA – A retired forklift driver has racked up on Georgia Lottery winnings. James Tilson of McCaysville won a $30,000 top prize playing the instant game Cash In Hand.
Tilson, 66, was out getting gas when he purchased the ticket at Quick Pick Food Mart, 602 Blue Ridge Drive in McCaysville, and scratched it in the store.
“I had a fit,” he exclaimed.
Tilson retired two years ago from the Pilgrim’s Pride in Ellijay.
“I’m going to pay some bills,” he declared.
