ATLANTA – Georgians can add their special touch to this year’s Independence Day festivities and win cash prizes of $500. The Georgia Lottery is seeking original short videos of people expressing in four written words what the holiday means to them.
Winners from the Georgia Lottery’s “4 Words for the 4th” video contest will air during the “Georgia Salutes America” TV special, broadcast statewide on July 4. Up to 20 videos will be selected to air during the special and will win a $500 cash prize.
Entrants may use a cell phone, digital camera or other electronic device, to film their video. All entrants must reside in Georgia and be at least 18 years old. The deadline for submission is 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2012.
