ATLANTA – One lucky mother of three has secured a prize worth thousands from the Georgia Lottery. Brandy Turberville of Bainbridge, 37, has won a $20,000 top prize playing the instant game Slots of Luck.
Turberville claimed her prize Wednesday at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Tifton.
“I went in to town to grab a bite to eat for dinner,” she explained. “I scratched it at home.”
A & A Convenience Store, 1761 Faceville Highway in Bainbridge, sold the winning ticket.
“I was shocked and thought that it was too good to be true,” she said.
A human resources coordinator, Turberville anticipates paying off bills with her windfall.
