ATLANTA – A winning Georgia Lottery ticket worth nearly $400,000 was sold in Macon. WOC Retail LLC, located at 4433 Forsyth Road, sold a winning Quik Pik ticket worth $384,245 from the Feb. 5 Fantasy 5 drawing.
The winner is Candice Peters of Macon, who is one of two winners each to match all five winning numbers from the drawing. The second jackpot-winning ticket was purchased in Dunwoody.
Peters claimed her prize Monday at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Macon.
Winning numbers from the Feb. 5 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 4-14-18-25-27.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $16 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.7 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.3 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
