ATLANTA – A gas station in Hephzibah has sold a winning Georgia Lottery ticket worth more than $100,000. Deans Bridge Fast Fare, located at 4002 Deans Bridge Road in Hephzibah, sold a winning Fantasy 5 ticket, matching all five numbers, from the Dec. 30 drawing.
The winner, Carolyn Riley of Augusta, is one of two winners each to win $104,717. Riley claimed her prize at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Augusta.
Winning numbers from the Dec. 30 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 2-8-11-19-25.
The second jackpot-winning ticket was sold in Columbus.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $15.7 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program.
