ATLANTA – A Jonesboro great-grandfather has piled a prize from the Georgia Lottery. Willie Smith won a $20,000 prize from being selected as a grand prize winner in the Georgia Lottery’s Play It Again Reloaded Second Chance Promotion.
“It feels great. I don’t have any plans yet,” said Smith, 75. “I’ve been playing the games. It was great that I got this chance.”
As a monthly cash prize winner in the Georgia Lottery’s Play It Again Reloaded Second Chance Promotion, Smith had an opportunity to spin a wheel to win cash prizes ranging from $5,000 to $1 million.
A retired auto mechanic, Smith and his wife, Nettie, have six adult children, a host of grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
