ATLANTA – A winning Georgia Lottery ticket worth more than eight-hundred thousand dollars was sold in Hartwell. Max Saver, located at 17 Liberty Hill Church Road, sold a winning Fantasy 5 ticket worth the $860,062 jackpot prize from the Feb. 19 drawing.
The gas station in Hartwell is one of two locations in Georgia to sell jackpot-winning tickets that matched all five numbers from the drawing. The other ticket was sold in Conyers.
John Lowe of Belton, S.C., claimed his prize Feb. 22 at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Duluth.
Winning numbers from the Feb. 19 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 17-22-25-29-30.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $17 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.7 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.4 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
