ATLANTA – A Bainbridge man is celebrating a win from the Georgia Lottery. James Kirkland Jr., 55, played the instant game $1,000,000 Grand Casino, winning a $1 million top prize.
Circle K Store #3910, 1800 Dothan Road in Bainbridge, sold the winning ticket.
“I had gotten off of work and bought three tickets,” he said. “I scratched them in the car.”
Kirkland was in disbelief.
“I thought that I was dreaming,” he said. “I started dancing in the store.”
The lucky winner is all smiles.
“I’ve been smiling all week,” Kirkland shared. “I want to buy a truck: a Chevrolet Colorado.”
