ATLANTA – Meahmie Fellinger of Perry has won a $168,676 Fantasy 5 jackpot prize, matching all five winning numbers from the May 23 drawing.
Fellinger, 65, won the jackpot prize after receiving a free Fantasy 5 ticket from a previous drawing. The lucky winner claimed her prize May 27 at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Macon.
Kroger, 774 Ga. Highway 96 in Perry, awarded her the free Quik Pik ticket.
The grandmother of eight checked the results of the drawing where she received her winning combination.
She was overjoyed when she discovered she’d won.
“I said, ‘Oh wow! I won with a free ticket,’ ” Fellinger exclaimed.
With no immediate plans for her winnings, Fellinger will consider her options.
“My daughter will help me decide what I will do with the money,” she said. “She is my accountant.”
Winning numbers from the May 23 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 07-15-17-18-19.
