ATLANTA – A Calhoun man has clinched an ample prize from the Georgia Lottery. Anthony Carroll, 48, played the instant game Giant Jumbo Bucks, winning a $150,000 top prize.
Carroll claimed his prize Tuesday at the Georgia Lottery’s District Office in Dalton.
“The prize just popped out there and surprised me,” he said.
Feeling good about his windfall, Carroll intends to pay off bills.
USA Group Of Investment, 1444 U.S. Highway 41 N. in Calhoun, sold the winning ticket.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $17 billion to the state of Georgia for education.
