ATLANTA – Karmen Respicio of Fort Oglethorpe has won an awesome prize. Respicio recently won $150,000 playing the Georgia Lottery’s Giant Jumbo Bucks scratcher.
The winning ticket was purchased at Spirit gas station, located at 438 Highway 41 N. in Ringgold.
After purchasing the ticket and realizing it was a winner, Respicio was stunned.
“I froze,” Respicio said. “I was shaking. It was insane.”
The 27-year-old plans to use the winnings to treat some family members.
“I’m going to help my mom,” the lucky winner said. “She took care of me for 27 years.”
Respicio claimed the prize last week at the Georgia Lottery’s Dalton District Office.
