ATLANTA – Three winning tickets worth $50,000 each were sold in Atlanta and Conyers for the March 10 Powerball drawing.
The Atlanta ticket was purchased at Publix Super Market #0718, located at 4279 Roswell Road NE. Milstead Food Mart, located at 1293 Milstead Ave., and BP Food Mart, located at 607 Sigman Road, sold the Conyers tickets.
Winning numbers from the March 10 drawing were: 43-44-54-61-69 and the Powerball was 22. Each winning ticket matched the first five numbers without the Powerball.
The winners claimed their prizes Monday and Tuesday at Georgia Lottery headquarters and the Duluth District Office.
In Georgia, Powerball winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes.
Saturday’s Powerball jackpot is an estimated $455 million to a single annuity winner.
Powerball tickets can be purchased at Georgia Lottery retailers statewide. Georgia residents also can purchase Powerball tickets via the Georgia Lottery app or online at www.galottery.com.
As with all other Georgia Lottery games, proceeds from Powerball will benefit education in the state of Georgia.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $19.2 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program.
