ATLANTA – A convenience store in Kennesaw recently sold a Georgia Lottery Billionaire Club scratch-off ticket worth $7 million.
Texaco Food Mart, located at 3129 Cobb Parkway NW in Kennesaw, sold the top prize ticket.
The lucky winner came forward to claim the prize Monday.
The Billionaire Club Scratcher offers players $7 million top prizes, $1 million second prizes, $50,000 third prizes, and many other great cash prizes.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $24.9 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 2 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.6 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
