Weekend Wins for Georgia Lottery Players on Powerball; Mega Millions
ATLANTA (May 19, 2025) – A Georgia Lottery player in Tucker won $50,000 playing Powerball on May 17. The winning ticket, from Food Mart, 3204 Tucker Norcross Road, Tucker, matched four of the five white-ball numbers and the Powerball. The winning numbers for the May 17 drawing were 07-34-40-42-52; the Powerball was 15 and the PowerPlay was 2X. The next drawing is on May 19 with an estimated jackpot of $134 million.
Additionally, a player in Albany won $20,000 in the May 16 Mega Millions drawing. The ticket was purchased at Creekside 2, 1900 Weymouth Drive, Albany, and matched four of the five white balls plus the Mega Ball, and had a built-in multiplier of 2X, doubling the prize from $10,000 to $20,000. Winning numbers on May 16 were 02-22-42-62-66 with a Megaball of 14. The next drawing will be held on May 20 with an estimated jackpot of $139 million.
Winners in Georgia have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes. As with all Georgia Lottery games, proceeds from Mega Millions and Powerball benefit education in the state of Georgia.
