Mega Millions jackpot becomes largest in U.S. this year, 10th largest in its history; Georgia Lottery player wins $4M
ATLANTA (July 15, 2026) – The Mega Millions jackpot continues to climb with one Georgia Lottery player winning a $4 million prize in the July 14 drawing. Mega Millions has soared to the 10th largest jackpot in game history and the largest U.S. jackpot this year.
Combined with Powerball, Georgia Lottery big jackpot games near a combined $1.2 billion. Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot has increased to an estimated $498 million ($221 million cash option) while Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot has reached an estimated $672 million ($293.3 million cash option).
A lucky Georgia player won $4 million in the July 14 Mega Millions drawing by matching all five white-ball numbers with a built-in 4X multiplier that quadrupled the prize from $1 million.
The ticket was purchased at FOE Aerie 4379 Inc., 101 Industrial Drive, St in St. Marys.
Winning numbers for the July 14 Mega Millions drawing were 2, 4, 10, 48, 56 and the Mega Ball was 22.
A player won $150,000 in the July 14 Fantasy 5 drawing with a ticket purchased at Chevron Food Mart, 288 Powers Ferry Road in Marietta.
Winning numbers for the July 14 Fantasy 5 drawing were 1, 8, 17, 20 and 39.
Additionally, three players won big prizes playing Diggi Games:
• A player in Cumming won $23,014 playing Jackpot Spectacular on July 13. The ticket was purchased through the Georgia Lottery mobile app.
• A Newnan player won $20,000 playing Disco Pig (Lucky Coins) on July 14 through the Georgia Lottery mobile app.
• A player in Guyton won $10,000 playing Legacy of Liberty on July 14 through the Georgia Lottery mobile app.
A lucky player won $10,000 in the July 13 midday Georgia FIVE drawing by matching all five numbers in exact order. The winning numbers were 2-6-7-2-6.
The ticket was purchased at BP Convenience Mart, 1190 Old Roswell Road in Roswell.
Finally, a player won $7,500 in the July 14 Millionaire for Life drawing by matching four of the five white-ball numbers and the Millionaire Ball.
The lucky ticket was purchased at QuikTrip #0776, 5255 Peachtree Parkway in Norcross.
Winning numbers for the July 14 Millionaire for Life drawing were 12, 13, 15, 16, 41 and the Millionaire Ball was 2.
The next Powerball drawing is Wednesday, July 15 at 11 p.m. ET. The next Mega Millions drawing is Friday, July 17 at 11 p.m. ET.
Mega Millions and Powerball winners in Georgia have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes.
